An update for our US customers

To our customers in the United States,

First of all, thank you.

Many of you have supported Duckfeet for years, and over the past months we've received countless kind messages from customers asking what happened and whether Duckfeet would return to the United States. Your patience and encouragement have meant a great deal to us.

On March 27, 2026, our former independent US distributor, Rust & Salt LLC, ceased operations and entered bankruptcy proceedings. Rust & Salt operated DuckfeetUSA as well as several other brands.

This happened without warning and left some customers without the products, refunds, exchanges or support they expected. We know how frustrating and disappointing that has been, and we're truly sorry for everyone affected.

The closure also meant that we unexpectedly lost our US distributor and our primary way of serving customers in the United States. Despite this, we never considered leaving the US market.

Already the following day, on March 28, we reopened sales to American customers directly from Denmark through duckfeet.com. Since then, customers across the United States have once again been able to order Duckfeet directly from us.

Most orders arrive in approximately five business days. While a small number of shipments may occasionally experience customs delays, we work closely with FedEx to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. So far, no Duckfeet has been lost ;)

For customers affected by the Rust & Salt closure, any claims relating to previous orders must be handled through the bankruptcy proceedings. If you received information from the bankruptcy trustee or the New Hampshire court, we encourage you to follow the instructions provided.

Today, we're taking the next step.

We have established Duckfeet Inc. and are building our own long-term presence in the United States. Our goal is simple: to serve American customers directly and provide the same personal service and long-lasting products that Duckfeet has stood for since 1975.

We're also eager to reconnect with the Duckfeet community. Many of the channels that brought customers together over the years disappeared when Rust & Salt closed, but we are trying to rebuild those connections in the months ahead.

We may be a small company in Denmark, but we care deeply about our customers and about doing the right thing. We will continue working to find practical solutions and to support the Duckfeet community in the United States the best we can.
